AM I ABLE TO PRINT MY OWN IMAGES?
Yes! The contract you will sign upon booking will include rights to print your own images whenever and wherever you like.
HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PUT DOWN AS DEPOSIT TO SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
A $50 deposit is required to book a full session. This deposit will be applied towards your final invoice even in the event of rescheduling, but will be non-refundable in the event that you cancel the session.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept credit cards and bank transfers (ACH). Invoices will be sent via email with a link to make payments.
WHAT IF IT'S RAINING DURING MY SESSION DATE?
Since we can't control the weather, we'll always need to work around it. If it looks like it's going to be raining or dark and cloudy on the day of your session, I will reach out to you and we can find a new date and time that works for both of us.
WHAT TIME DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Outdoor sessions take place two hours before sunset, or even two hours after sunrise. This ensures we get the best lighting.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCATIONS TO SHOOT?
The beach, field/wooded areas, downtown Holland, or anywhere you'd like! I do have some favorite locations that I know work well, and we can discuss those when scheduling your session.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MY MATERINTY SESSION?
32-36 weeks is typically the best time to capture your beautiful bump.
MY KIDS WON'T LAST VERY LONG, HOW LONG ARE THE FAMILY SESSIONS?
My family sessions range from a 30-60 minutes. I do recommend to plan for at least an hour so that we aren't rushed. This will allow time for breaks for the kids where we can capture some candids.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY KIDS DON'T COOPERATE?
Since I'm a mom of three, I know all too well that sometimes kids don't enjoy having their pictures taken! So, we'll work the session mostly around them - if they aren't wanting to sit with the family or pose, we'll let them play, hug, or even just walk around while I photograph their natural smiles.
DO YOU OFFER MINI SESSIONS?
Yes, a few times a year I hold mini session events for those who may not want or need a full session. The event details are posted both on social media and on my website, and will be booked on a first-come first-served basis.
I know that a portrait session is more than just smiling for the camera, so I strive to capture dreamy, fresh, light filled images that tell your unique story.
From candid moments to those beautifully posed portraits, I look forward to making your session fun and carefree!

After I hear from you, we'll work together to find a date, time, and location that works best for you. Once we figure out those details, I'll just need a small deposit and a signed agreement to book your session!
After you're booked (yay!), I'll email you a questionnaire to gather more info about everyone in the session. This will help me make this a unique and memorable experience.

From there, you'll receive a style guide with tips and examples of what to wear on the day of our shoot. The goal is to make getting ready stress-free as well as ensure that your pictures turn out fabulous!

A week before your session, I'll be in contact to make sure that the date, time, and location still work for everyone - and if not, we can always reschedule. Kids get sick, appointments get scheduled, work hours change... we'll make it work!
On the day of your session, I'll look to capture a mix of natural interactions and posed portraits. I want you to be able to spend your session having fun and being you without worrying about the camera.

About 1 to 2 weeks after your session, your pictures will be ready! I'll send you your final invoice followed by a link to a private gallery where you can download your high resolution images.
